Phone Registration Day

Registration Day is Wednesday, September 7th!  The link for your “Ticket” to register is at the bottom of this page.  Please read this page in its entirety before you click on the link.

Class Catalog

Please view the pdf version of the catalog here.  Look over the class choices with your children (note that each class is designed for a specific grade/age range).  Jot down the chosen selections so you will be ready for our registration on Wednesday.

If you are interested in the Health class, please note that the books are not included in the fees.  The best deal right now for the set of books is at Christian book . com

Registration Prep

We will have our registration over the phone on Wednesday, September 7th.  To prepare for Wednesday, we ask that you fill out the Registration Reservation Survey as soon as possible.  The information in the survey will help us prepare the database.

Also, by filling out the survey promptly, you will secure your place in line.  We will be calling each family in the order the survey is time stamped.

 Registration Day

Jeannine, Trina, Jodi, Brittiany, JoAnna, or Sarah will be making calls from 10am-4pm, Wednesday, September 7th.  We anticipate the phone call should last 5-10 minutes.

  • Please have ready the following information:
    • Class choices for each of your children
      • Please have a second choice available just in case the first choice is taken before we call you
    • The days that will best work for your three days of set-up or clean-up
    • Please note that if we have more families register than we expect, we can subtract one of the set-up or clean up days
  • All adults are asked to work two of the three blocks.  The “off” block will be decided by which blocks you are plugged into
  • Positions available:
    • Teacher
  • We already know who our teachers are from the Class Catalog
  • Helper
    • Since all classes need two adults, there is a need for helpers in each class
    • The helper is who will be asked to step in if the Teacher is absent
  • Hall Monitor
    • We have three Hall Monitors for each block
  • Float
    • A float is a person who will be assigned to potentially two different classes each week.  When a teacher or helper can’t make it to co-op, the staffing coordinator needs to fill in the gap with a float
  • After we finish all of the tasks above, we will review it with you to make sure we have all of the choices documented correctly
  • We will collect payments on September 16th at our Mock Friday School.
    • We accept cash and checks (made payable to FCEG or First Class East Gresham)
    • If a payment plan is needed we can discuss the terms at the end of the call
      • The first payment will be on Mock Friday 9/16/22
  • You will receive a pdf of your invoice by Thursday evening, 9/15/22
  • This will show the classes to which you and your children are enrolled
  • Your helping days before and after school hours
  • The total amount due

 New Members

There will be a New Member Orientation via Zoom on Monday, September 12th at 7pm.  We will send out the FCEG Friday School Handbook and the FCEG Member Manual after Registration and prior to the meeting.  When you receive it, please read through it so you can be ready with any questions. We will be looking at them together.
